Professional interests
My research interest lies in learning with the Internet, Web based educational technologies and tools, open access, e-portfolios, and adult education. I am involved in national and international research projects as a researcher and project manager. Additionally, I am an editor of a scientific open access journal and a weblog about E-Assessment.
Background
Born 1976, I studied educational science, psychology and computer science at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. For my master degree (M.A., Magister Artium), I worked on online assessment in vocational further education. During and after my studies I worked at the German Youth Institute in Munich about Children and the Internet. Before joining the EduMedia group at Salzburg Research in 2006, I was a researcher and trainer in a private training company. In 2007, I finished my PHD (Dr. phil., magna cum laude) with an empirical analysis of learning activities with vocational relevance at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (Prof. Dr. R. Tippelt).
